The Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS)

The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS) Award, conferred by the Philippine Senate, honors Filipinas who have shown outstanding dedication, exceptional talent, and a history of contributing positively to Philippine society.

Erika was recognized for her leadership in building the country’s data science and AI ecosystem — from establishing the Philippines’ first graduate data science program, to her research on urban mobility and network science, to her advocacy for responsible AI and science-based policymaking.
